WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing to be an independent, pure-play agricultural company within BASF group. To be ready for independence, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles (see here: build your career on our Standalone Transformation).

  • As part of the establishment of a standalone tax function for the Agricultural Solutions business, you will play a key role in building and embedding robust transfer pricing governance from the ground up.
  • In your new position, you maintain AP's intercompany transfer pricing (ICTP) governance framework and ensure consistent application of policies across all relevant entities.
  • You support the selection, implementation, and day-to-day management of transfer pricing IT systems and tools, ensuring data integrity and process automation.
  • You monitor ICTP results, identify deviations and coordinate corrective actions with Controlling and other key stakeholders.
  • You build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across Tax, Controlling, Legal and operational business units to ensure alignment on transfer pricing matters. Together with your colleagues, you coordinate the preparation and alignment of master files and local files with the operational Tax advisors and ensure timely, audit ready documentation.
  • In addition, you oversee data quality, support the implementation of governance updates, and contribute to the standardization of transfer pricing processes across Agricultural Solutions.
  • Last but not least, you secure audit readiness by maintaining transparent documentation, preparing responses to audit requests and supporting risk assessments.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • completed university degree in taxation, business administration, economics or a comparable field
  • at least six years of professional experience in transfer pricing, tax governance or a related finance environment
  • solid knowledge of intercompany transfer pricing concepts, documentation requirements and financial process flows
  • very good German and English skills
  • experienced with transfer pricing software/tools and a strong IT affinity, ideally including system ownership or implementation experience
  • proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships in a multinational environment
