WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We are looking for you as an intern to support our global Risk Management & Internal Controls team. In a collaborative environment, you contribute to strengthening and continuously developing BASF Agricultural Solutions' risk and internal controls framework.

• In your new role, you support risk assessments as well as structured risk documentation and reporting, contributing to transparent and reliable governance processes.
• Together with your team, you contribute to the development and maintenance of the Risk Management System and Internal Control System and help continuously enhance Risk Control Matrices and related control documentation.
• You research and analyse topics related to risk management, internal controls and recognised good practices and work with your colleagues to make relevant insights accessible to different stakeholders.
• In close collaboration with different stakeholders, you prepare presentations, reports, training and communication materials and support workshops, training sessions and awareness initiatives that foster a shared risk and control culture.
• You also explore how digital technologies, data analytics and AI applications can meaningfully support and enhance governance and control processes.
• Together with us, you'll help foster a corporate culture that embodies the responsible use of AI and firmly integrates it into our daily collaboration.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• current bachelor's or master's studies, for example in business administration, economics, finance, business information systems or a related field, ideally combined with good academic performance
• ideally, initial practical experience gained through internships, student employment or international experience; we also warmly welcome applications with other relevant experience
• an interest in risk management, internal controls and finance, combined with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about new topics and developing your knowledge together with others
• good German and English language skills as well as confidence in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; an interest in digital technologies, data-driven approaches and AI applications is welcome
• a structured and proactive approach combined with a collaborative mindset, appreciative communication and enthusiasm for supporting others and learning together
• openness to using AI in your day-to-day work, as well as a willingness to try out new digital tools and use them effectively
