Your Tasks

• Analyze the missions and systems needs
• Define information and data that shall be transferred between space assets (sensors and data network elements) as well as between space and ground
• Derive different solutions for data dissemination within the system (space and ground)
• Negotiate the solutions with suppliers and subcontractors
• Define architecture options for data dissemination and perform trade studies for space system elements and ground elements
• Specify the selected solution and option
• Bring the defined and selected solution into an operational system
• Write the specification and interface control document for the selected solution and option
• Work in an international team of experts from OHB and project partners

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies (Diploma or Master) in aerospace engineering, electronics, communication or equivalent qualification
• Ideally several years of professional experience in defence or security systems engineering projects
• Several years of experience in communication network definition
• Strong competence in self-organizing and work planning
• High motivation, proactive working approach, and strong sense of responsibility
• Strong competence in working in a multicultural team
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
• Experience with applicable standards and processes in space communication
• Ability and willingness to achieve a German security clearance
• Fluency in both spoken and written English
