Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical sustainability specialist to join our team in Regensburg.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability initiatives within our company. The ideal candidate is passionate about environmental protection and has the ability to drive positive change through data-driven strategies.

• Roll-out and maintenance of General Sustainability Requirements as well as follow-up with suppliers
• Exchange with AUMOVIO Sustainability Stakeholders such as Sustainability Governance, Strategy & Programs, BA SUS Champions for the development of Sustainability requirements and implementation strategy
• Alignment with affected departments (e.g. law, communication) to ensure compliance with legal Sustainability requirements
• Support of general strategic Sustainability activities (e.g. questionnaires & surveys, product carbon footprint, low-carbon electricity, BPCoC) towards the supply base
• Creation of training and information materials
• Involvement in Sustainability reporting tasks (e.g. Carbon Boarder Adjustment Mechanism, Emissions)

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable qualification
• Long-term experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, quality and Sustainability
• Experience in implementing processes and process changes, ideally with IT background
• Basic knowledge in common international Sustainability Frameworks
• Comprehensive knowledge of organizational structure and network in Procurement
• Experience in working in intercultural and remote project teams
• Business-fluent English and good German language skills (written and spoken)
• Analytical skills and structured working style
