The Position
Are you ready to shape global access strategies for innovative therapies in Cardiovascular & Renal Medicine (CRM)?
In this senior global role, you will define and drive evidence generation strategies that directly influence pricing, reimbursement, and patient access worldwide. Apply now and take a leading role at the intersection of science, strategy, and value demonstration.
Tasks & responsibilities

  • Strategic leadership of the Market Access and HEOR perspective within international project teams (e.g. Core Team, Brand Team, MAXT, Global Evidence Team), in close coordination with the PMA Managers and Global Market Access Lead.
  • You will translate payer, pricing & reimbursement policy insights into long-term global payer evidence & value strategies for CRM assets along their lifecycle together with Global Marketing and Global Medical to ensure optimal patient access.
  • Design and execution of a comprehensive global value demonstration strategy, including PROs, health-economic models, indirect treatment comparisons, real-world evidence and value studies.
  • Drive value for innovation evidence strategies for innovative pricing and access models
  • Payer-focused evaluation of Target Product Profiles (TPPs) and active shaping of global clinical development programs (comparators, endpoints, patient populations).
  • You will drive HEOR and Market Access input into key strategic documents and senior decision forums (e.g. Management Summaries, IEP, GBP, TSAP and CSAP, Communication Strategy, Market Development Strategy).
  • Global launch readiness will be ensured by setting the strategic Market Access framework and supporting regions/(R)OPUs with innovative and consistent value toolbox elements.
  • Closely collaborate with Focus Market HEOR & Market Access teams to design and implement the payer value evidence strategy to achieve pricing and access goals

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in Health Economics, Economics, Medicine, Pharmacy, Natural Sciences, Business or a related discipline.
  • Long-term pharmaceutical industry experience in HEOR, pricing & reimbursement, market access, consulting or payer / HTA authorities, including a few years in a global role and of international exposure.
  • Strong track record in value generation and demonstration using HEOR methodologies such as PROs, health economic modelling, indirect treatment comparisons and real-world data, HTA principles, patient-centred research, epidemiology & public health, study approaches, methodological & statistical research
  • Market Access know-how: In-depth understanding of Healthcare System structures, key stakeholders, decision making processes and criteria, health service delivery & process of care, HTA requirements, payer perspectives and pricing practices, ideally across the US, Germany, Japan, China and other key HTA markets.
  • Leadership & mindset: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders and translate complex evidence into clear access strategies, collaborate in cross-functional teams
  • Business-fluent English.
