The Position
Are you a business-oriented consultant, facilitator, and trainer who can translate strategic needs into impactful Data & AI upskilling initiatives? Join the Data X Academy, where you will help employees, business functions, managers, and leaders strengthen their ability to understand, adopt, and apply Data & AI in practical business contexts.
In this role, your contribution is not developing machine learning models or AI use cases. Instead, you will design and deliver learning experiences, support business-focused Data & AI adoption, work closely with Data Scientists and subject matter experts, and help translate technical expertise into practical enablement for business audiences. You will connect business understanding, training delivery, stakeholder engagement, agile ways of working, and change enablement to create measurable learning and adoption impact.
The Data X Academy is Boehringer Ingelheim's global capability-building partner for Data & AI. We help people, teams, and leaders understand, apply, build, and lead with Data & AI, responsibly and with a clear connection to business value.
This position can be filled in Ingelheim.
This position has a hybrid setup with approximately 2-3 days per week on site.
Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Informatics, Information Technology, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Economics, Natural Sciences, Business Administration (or a related field) or a bachelor's degree with more relevant professional experience is also
  • Several years of professional experience in business consulting, business partnering, capability building, learning design, change management, or related functions.
  • Proven ability to design and facilitate engaging trainings, workshops, learning journeys, and enablement programs for diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong stakeholder management, consulting, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate business needs and complex topics into practical, business-oriented solutions.
  • Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments, applying agile ways of working and driving organizational transformation, capability building, and Data & AI adoption
  • Experience in Learning & Development, adult education, instructional design, or enterprise-wide capability building initiatives as well as in in change management, stakeholder engagement, community building, innovation management, and Data & AI adoption support is desirable
  • Experience or certification in innovation, transformation, coaching, and organizational development methodologies (e.g., Design Thinking, Systems Thinking, Strategic Foresight, OKRs, Holacracy, or systemic/agile coaching) is an advantage
  • Fluent English required, German language skills are a plus
