Join the dynamic Airbus-team in Hamburg Finkenwerder as a Tool Engineer (d/f/m). This position places you at the heart of innovation and advanced manufacturing engineering, contributing to the development of tooling solutions for civil aircraft programs. You'll collaborate across functions and integrate cutting-edge technologies to improve efficiency and optimize costs.

Your tasks:

• Design and specify special production tools for structure and equipment assembly processes.
• Create innovative tooling concepts aligned with production, quality assurance, safety, and ergonomics requirements.
• Lead sub-projects for tooling development, including cost and schedule estimation.
• Integrate mature manufacturing technologies, measurement and control systems, and automation in collaboration with specialized departments.
• Support financial processes by preparing CapEx and OpEx dossiers.
• Provide technical evaluation of supplier offers and support procurement phases.
• Conduct supplier acceptance testing and handover tools to serial production.
• Validate technical documentation and support root cause analysis for non-conformities.
• Manage subcontracted design offices and ensure quality, timeline, and cost adherence.
• Drive continuous improvement in tooling technology for cost and efficiency optimization.

VORAUSSSETZUNGEN:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or technical studies.
• 3 years of professional experience in Jigs and Tools development and design.
• Project management experience in industrialization projects.
• Familiarity with SAP and Catia V5 software, including detailed functionalities.
• Proficiency in German (business fluent) and English (advanced).
• Knowledge in fixture design, tooling construction, and manufacturing processes are assets.
• Expertise in Google Workspace applications.
