Advanced: CEFR Level B2 / C1 - You are able to communicate effectively and accurately (speaking, listening, reading and writing). You can express yourself spontaneously, fluently and precisely in both familiar and unfamiliar situations.
Intermediate: CEFR Level A2 / B1 - You are able to filter out the most important points from a clearly spoken conversation about familiar topics such as school, work, leisure or travel. Situations such as those that arise when traveling, for example, are no longer hurdles. Interests, hopes, plans and desires can be described in a simple but coherent way. Short explanations or justifications can also be given.
Basic: CEFR Level A1 - You are able to understand spoken language and recognise familiar words, phrases and simple sentences connected to basic topics, such as personal information, family, shopping, local geography and your job. You can communicate in simple and routine tasks, using basic vocabulary and grammar.
No knowledge: You cannot communicate yet in the German language.
